This is kind of a fan-art-ish picture of Agamemnon and Iphigenia. If you don't know the story, you should look it up, but the basic thing is that Artemis has demanded that Agamemnon sacrifice Iphigenia, his daughter. (He does it, too.) I based it off of a photo I found from a performance of the Oresteia (three plays about the house of Atreus), so it's not completely my own interpretation.
Ohhhh bravo!! Bravo!! Of corse we know that story. The drawing is really beautiful, but you should have shown more ambition in Agammenon's face I think... he was able to kill her own child for glory and victory!!

again with that anatomy! The arms...and the legs, and the feet and especially the hands, and the faces too! Everything is just so good and you don't need a reference 24-7 to draw either! You're so good. ^.^

Yes...that was the reason I said it was kind of a "fan fiction" picture. Because according to Homer and a lot of the Greek writers, the fact that Agamemnon was able to kill his own child was something to be proud of, like you said. But I think that he must have had some misgivings or sadness at the fact that he had to kill his own daughter...at least, that's how I imagine it. So I made him sad-looking. It's just one interpretation. Yours is probably more true to the legends, but I like looking at legends from different points of view, too.
