Manon and Des Grieux

I listened to the Met broadcast of Puccini's Manon Lescaut yesterday. It's actually the first time I've heard the entire opera and I totally adore it!

This is my pathetic representation of Des Grieux and Manon in Act IV, stranded in Louisiana. Manon dying of exhaustion and Des Grieux clasping her in his arms. *watches them with pathos*...they're such drama queens. But they're in love, so I guess we'll forgive them.

P.S. Lescaut - played by Dwayne Croft - was definately my favorite character, though. I am SO going to draw him next. XD
